Am running Sap Gui 7,40 rev9 for MAC.

Runs quite good, but when I try to open a window, it shows me this error and says:

In order to execute the desired function on the client, a separate Java component must installed here. This component is either incorrect or not installed.

Any ideas??

Hello Simon,

First, SAP GUI for Java 7.40 is no longer supported, please upgrade to SAP GUI for Java 7.50.

The current version is 7.50 rev 8.

Regarding your issue, which transaction is supposed to open in that case?

The "MED" in message N1BASE_MED668 makes me think, it might be related to a transaction part of i.s.h.med. Then you need to install an additional Java component provided by the vendor (which is Cerner afaik).

But this is just my best guess.
