Hi, all.

I like migration finction in ByD. It's really convenient. So, i guess.. Data migration can be possible in anytime, especially after Go-Live and many transaction occured. Is it right?
Are there no constraints or problems?

Thanks regards,

Dasom Baek

Hello Dasom,

Yes technically, you can do additional migration as well.. (For example, Supplier, Customer, Products etc) and even some of the migration object also supports enhancements of the data meaning you can existing supplier data can be updated via migration or mass data maintenance work centers.

For Financial data, you will need to change the migration posting date (General Ledger -> Companies view, Select company and click on action Select Posting date for migration). this will change the date of posting for migration postings for financial data.

However you will need to make sure to match the balance of the financial migration objects (Such as Open Items payable / Receivables, checks etc) to match the balance with the GL Balance).

Another Thing to keep in mind that you will not be able to Migrate the opening balance for the bank accounts (as it will complicate the opening and closing balance of the bank).

Let me know if there is some specific questions relating to additional migration.

Thanks.

Hi Da Som

Yes is it. After Go Live also you can migrate data.

Once Go- Live completed object will disable for migration.

If you want to migrate data after Go live from Fine tuning need to enable object from activity "Enable data migration per object"
