PLM DMS Documents original upload read write error

Hi Experts ,

We are trying to check-in the originals ( document) within the PLM WebUI DMS, we get a "Read or write error C:\Users\xxxx\.

And its happens some of the users not for all users , and white list certificate installation and distribution also done .

Hi Suresh,

Well, we did faced similar problem for some users. The error shown that for that user system is not able to create a document for the specified path and we found that it was a problem in SAP logon pad.

Go to Options in SAP and open the security configuration, you find the list mentioning some line items with execute and write access. Check the specified you have mentioned is mentioned there with write access or not?

HI Suresh,

could you please provide an ACF trace because this kind of error often indicates a whitelist problem.

For trouble shooting ACF related functionality the trace can be obtained as per the SAP OSS notes 976714 and 1653021.

Also please see notes 1999782 and 2120840 which solved similar issues in the past.

We are getting the same issue on SAP ECC6. 0EhP 8 PLMWUI Patch 4.
