segmentation based on key figure

Hi

Suppose I want to do in BEx certain segmentation of the market. It's going to be based on sale value for each client during last year. I've been given some segments of sale value (e.g. 0-999,1000-9999,10000 and more). What I need is to get number of clients and total sale value for each of these segments.

The problem is that segments are based on KF, not on char and also that assignment to certain segment is based on individual client's sale value, but only total value for each segment should be displayed.

How can I achieve this ?
