Mistake ME21N when assigning Material Group

Hello,

I have made a mistake in ME21N when creating an asset where I chose wrong Material Group insted of using code "GEN" for generic low value asset. Is there a way to reverse the mistake?

Hello,

You can close this PO and create new one with correct materail group.

I found out that I need to manage AS06 instead MM06 but Your info was useful.

You created PO with wrong material group instead of correct material group GEN- you can set deletion flag to the line item of that PO and save the PO.

If I am correct, as PO created and somehow with your business design an inventory number/material number created- you can set "flag for deletion" to your material number in MM06 if you are authorized fro your user ID or else immediately contact your materiel master data management team to handle this issue on removing this item from their item list.

Thank You for the answer but the problem is that a new inventoy number was created can I delete it?
