Split operation in two work centers?

Hello all,

I have an order of 13000 pc,

2 work centres,

  • Work centre A with 14 individual capacities (only cotton shirts);
  • Work centre B with 8 individual capacities(cotton and wool shirts);

My order is to produce cotton shirts.

My order makes the work centre A full so I need to put the rest of the pcs in the work centre B because this work centre is also available to produce cotton shirts.

But how can I say this in SAP? How can I say that an order is going to "share" two work centres"?

Hope you can help.

Thank you.

    The standard capacity leveling transactions will not split your operation between two work centers.

    What you can do in Capacity Leveling is to let system automatically select a new production version in case of an overload in the work center, by setting the flag "change production version on error" in your strategy profile. However, with this setting you will dispatch the whole operation to a new work center and there will be no split.
