Redwood - change jobcreatedby

Hi guys,

Just to ask, is there a way to dynamically change the "jobcreated by" in SM37 via redwood?

In redwood under Environment -> SAP -> right click the SAP system -> Edit

We can only maintain 1 user per SAP client but the requestor wants to have a different name. He doesn't want the BATCHUSER as the Job CreatedBy when he is monitoring the job in SM37.

  • Hello,

The only thing you can change is the execution user that is used for the Steps for the jobs in SM37 (SAP_USER_NAME parameter). Dynamically changing the job creator is going to be a master pain in maintaining all user connections/credentials.

    Hi Philip.

In the SAP system if any one having authory in transaction code SM36, can do edit /modification / delete. I am not sure about the Redwood . you can check those changes in transaction code SM37.
