Transportation lead time calculation based on embedded TM data in Sales Order

Hi Gurus,

We have the following scenario:

• SAP S/4 HANA 1809 (or even 1909, we've started the update process), with
• embedded Transportation Management (Basic Shipping scenario).

We are using the delivery based planning as only this one is supported by the Basic Shipping scenario.

A standard outbound process looks like the following:

1. Sales Order (SO) creation with quantity X for date Y (which is confirmed by the production/availability).
2. Outbound Delivery (OD) creation with quantity X and date Y.
3. Freight Order (FO) creation based on automatically generated Freight Unit (FU).
4. Transportation planning process in FO, carrier confirms the pick-up date, in an ideal way it is Y.

... and this is the first point, when the transportation lead time (=lead time of the determined Transportation Lane) comes into the round. Let's say the duration is 2 days, therefore the delivery date at customer (ship-to) location is Y+2.

Is it possible somehow to have this date Y+2 pushed back to SO in order to be able to send correct Sales Order confirmation date?

Or even is it possible to determine automatically in step one the correct duration and date Y+2 - the starting and destination locations are available at the time, Means of Transport can be determined, therefore (apart from the carrier confirmation), Y+2 can be calculated, but is there any standard way for this?
