Exclude already expired batches during batch Determination In production Order

Dear Experts,

During batch determination in production order i want to sort batches on first expiry first out, but i want to exclude batches which are already expired. How can i achieve that can anybody explain.

    Hello,

    You can use remaining shelf life determination through characteristic LOBM_RLZ

    Update your batch search strategy and selection criteria here include characteristics LOBM_RLZ (Remaining shelf life) in the class .You can enter selection criteria in something like >= 0, for example.

    For more details refer SAP note 33396 - Batch determination: Selection with remaining shelf life LOBM_RLZ.

    Or you can use the deadline stock monitoring with inspection type 09.

    Transaction QA07, batch status changed to Restricted and stock moved to Restricted-use, when SLED/BBD is already expired.

    Refer SAP KBA 2608568 - Status of batch with expired SLED/BBD is not changed to Restricted after executing QA07.
