Hi Experts,

I could manage to setup the time evaluation with ZM00 for TM00.

I am going through the Time Evaluation to understand things better for positive time mgmt.

Can anybody please make me understand the following

Call rule MODT
Rule GrRule TType VaKey Operation

MODT * **** PAYTP A Set ESG for PCR
MODT 3 **** MODIF W=03 Set modifier
MODT 3 **** MODIF T=01 Set modifier
MODT 3 **** MODIF A=01 Set modifier
MODT 3 **** MODIF L=01 T559P grouping

I am also looking forward information on *,=,Set Modifier etc.

It will be a great help if I get some insight into it.

Thanks.

Hi Brendan,

This links are very interesting, thanks a lot.

On the similar lines I are just wondering about Positive Time Management processes flow.

I mean where the configuration will start.

I am aware of Time Evalution Setup & P2011,TEVEN.

For calculation of over time & payment, system generated leaves & deduction,Marking late punchin for half day etc.

From where all these activities are to start & end.

Please guide.

Thanks.

Hi Brendan,

Thanks for the update.

I am trying to build my understanding for PCR writing.

Can you share some examples for better understanding.

Thanks.

Hi,

Those modifiers are like a grouping / key value that get will get used later in processing

'Q' relevant when generating quotas (see also feature QUOMO)

'L' relevant when processing limits

'W' relevant when generating wage types

For example you might have wage type generation rules defined on table 'T510S'. Field 'Time wage type selection rule group' (Field ORGMO) is a key value on this table and you set this in your copy of 'MODT' with an appropriate MODIF W.

Allowing you set these modifiers in a PCR gives much greater flexability then the normal ee group / ee subgroup and personnel area / sunb area groupings commonly used in time
