Standard Cost Comparions using updated routers

Hello,

In our system, we have 1 BOM with 1 Router matched to 1 Production Version.

We want to modify the data on the Routers. However, a cost comparison is needed before activating the new routers.

If the routers were entered with a future date (1/1/2020),Is it possible to run a cost roll for 2020 data?

Would it pick up the new router changes and the existing BOM?

Do I need to create a new Production Version and link the New Router to the BOM?

Please provide direction on how to best approach this scenerio.

Hi,

If you change any thing a BOM or Routing, then you have to create a new production version with validity. Then only you can compare it old version.
