Fiori App - How does Sematic Object and Action identifies which app to run?

Hi! Experts,

While creating a navigation tile target mapping we specify semantic object and action, can someone explain how the framework knows which application to load once the tile is clicked?

Are there further steps other than registering semantic object and configuring it in the tile?

Thanks,

AQIB

    Hi Aqib

In the target mapping you have for example

Via transaction scif, the path indicated in the target mapping needs to be active

The application is stored in other BSP application SOTRACKSTATUSS1.

    Hello Aqib,

    see my answers below:

Target Mapping is defined for an application type. For a SAPUI5 Fiori App, ID is the SAP application ID defined in the manifest.json file of the App.

Not mandatory, but you can have parameters.

    Regards.

    Laurent.
