Supplier Payment Analysis - Change default currency EU to any other

Hello, we have some customer´s request to change the default EU currency for some analytical FIORI apps. In this specific case, Supplier Payment Analysis.

We found a 2017 document from Jorge Baltazar : " Step-by-step guide to modify currencies in standard delivered KPI tiles" but I would like to know if it is possible now to use In-app Extensions or other method to avoid copy all the applications with the same behavior. Is this possible ? There exist an updated version of this document?

As far as I know, you still have to adjust the display currency for the KPI based analytical Fiori apps by changing it in the corresponding evaluation(s) in the KPI Workspace.
