Material Type FERT (Finished product)

Valuation Class 7910 (Finished product)

In the future my company want to map my finished product in:

Material Type HALB (Semifinished Product)

You can test material in your test system as you have same valuation class but different material type!

How a company have one material today is finished product and the same is in future is semi-finished product?

What about material code or material numbering?

Again material to material transfer along with accounting entries depends on G/L mapping design based on valuation areas and valuation grouping code(OMWD and OBYC),if any

    Hi,

You may check the below steps:

    • Remove stock for the FERT materials (as required for changing material type).
    • Maintain ACR (OMSK) for HALB material type & OBYC settings for the valuation class with the required GL assignment.
    • Change material type for the material to HALB using MMAM
    • Receive the stock back to the material with the valuation price.

    Regards,
