ATC and SAP Solution Manager 7.2 - ChaRM: No authorization to log via a trusted system

We have a separated System with the ATC, connected to all Dev Systems and to SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SP09 ChaRM.

When we activate ATC, Solman ChaRM gives an rfc authorization error during TOC creation i.e. release of transport (ChaRM: No authorization to log via a trusted system (L-RC=1002 T-RC=2)).

With SU53 or Auth-tracing in Dev or ATC or Solman System, we get no clue which kind of RFC authorization or parameter is missing for the user executing the status change.

Do you have an idea?

Hi, check as Alexander proposed. SU53 will not record this issue. system log will.

    In addition, check these notes:

    Kind regards,

    Hello Tim,

According to the List of Trusted RFC return codes you need to find the user lacking S_RFCACL authorization in your system. Try to use the security audit log SM20 for this.

    Regards,
    Alexander

    Hello Tim,

    1. Make sure there is a same user ID on your back-end system as the one on front-end system, and this user have the authorization S_RFCACL on back-end system.
    2. The calls from front-end system should be trusted on back-end system. In transaction SMT1 on back-end system, you should see the front-end system ID is listed under tab "Systems whose calls are trusted".
