Extend Vendor with Mass Change for too long

Hi Expert,

I am trying to expand 60000 vendor but it runs very long. Is there any way to make it run faster? I have been extended with Mass Change and LSMW for a long time, can LTMC extend the vendor?

MASS transaction is for mass change but not for mass upload. To upload or extend you have to create a LSMW or ask developer to create a Z program for mass upload or extension of vendor.

Generally MASS tcode is slow when record numbers are high in volume. You can schedule the mass change with background processing. Just execute the mass transaction with CHANGE IN BACKGROUND. Execute it in the evening when user load is less and when you will come next day the whole job will be done.

Start with data migrating with LSMW and SAP configurations to extended the data .

It is normal because need long time for big volume data posting. Please also discuss with your BASIS people, maybe your BASIS people can change server configuration for faster posting process.
