Automatic mail Forwarding removal for MIGO

As per our Business process, whenever Goods arrived and available at store one mail triggers to user(The person who requires this material). Currently mail is triggering in below 2 ways

1. mailer Logic written in EXIT which triggers when MIGO is saved.

2. Automatic mail forwarding functionality enabled for users.

Now as per our new business process i need to stop Automatic mail Forwarding. Some body clarify me below

1. How Automatic mail forwarding works?

2. How to Stop Automatic mail forwarding for MIGO transaction only?

3. How can we check for what users Automatic mail Forwarding is enabled.

4. Does Automatic mail forwarding specific to Any transactions?

    Hi Kiran,

    AFAIK, there are two SAP-delivered ways that 'automatic forwarding' is accomplished. One is program RSWUWFM2, which is very old and probably should not be used. The other is through a series of configuration starting with SWNCONFIG.

    I don't know the details of your scenario, but it seems like you should change the logic in the exit that is triggered when MIGO is saved. Then you should check your SWNCONFIG (or see if program RSWUWFML2 is run periodically) and make your adjustments.

    There is also a function SO_AUTOMATIC_FORWARD_GET which will allow you to check for Automatic Forwarding email addresses, but this will only tell you what email address has been set up for a specific user, not whether the your system is set up (or how) for automatic forwarding.
