Connection between IoT CF cockpit to IoT AE and PdMS

Hello Everyone,

I have recently set up SAP Predictive Maintenance and Service in Cloud as per the documentation(Everything under one sub account), It seems to work fine while creating a piece of equipment, The new equipment created in PdMS with a Model (created from Model template) reflects under Leonardo AE portal - Thing Modeler and also in IoT CF Cockpit (Devices and Sensors created automatically), I have also successfully sent data via MQTT client to IoT Service Cockpit, However, the data is not reflected in both Leonardo AE portal or the PdMS.

I have tried setting up the whole setup once again from scratch but still have the same problem, received no errors in the log, and also checked all authorizations once again. but still could not figure out the problem.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks & Regards

Sreenath

Hi, are you sure you performed the message processing configuration in iot service as described in the pre-requisites under step 3 in this tutorial: https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/iot-express-2-create-device-model.html? Regards, Marcus

Hello Marcus,

Thank you very much for your reply!

The device model in the service cockpit and the Thing model in AE service are created automatically by the PdMS portal, therefore I did not follow the instructions in the link before,

The IoT model seems to be mapped correctly when I check in the Thing modeler (Sreenshot below) however the data seems to be missing.

I will try to configure the message processing manually as suggested by you.

However the link to the instruction guide in the prerequisite section seems to be broken, It seems like the article has been removed.

Could you suggest an alternative link to the guide for configuring the message processing configuration?

Thank you!

Regards,

Sreenath
