Eguipment master data field

Hello,

I try to restrict some user to write data on the IE02 (EQUIPMENT) asset number field on the organization tab.

I can't success to find user exit and badi for the issue.

If somebody know how some SAP user can be restricted to the field asset number it TC IE02 on the organization tab (just display).

You could perform the check at the equipment SAVE event via:

• User-exit IEQM0003 (SMOD)
• BADI EQUI_UPDATE (SE18)

Hi,

Please check following authorization object

A_S_ANLKL

Asset Master Data Maint: Company Code/Asset Class

I think if you restrict based on asset class user will not be able to maintain asset in Equipment master .

if this not works then you can create custom authorization ( Tcode SU21) object for field ANLNR
