Data Source 0PM_OM_OPA_2 performance issue

Hello All,

We are using Planned Maintenance orders costs 0PM_OM_OPA_1 (Full)and Actual Maintenance orders costs data source 0PM_OM_OPA_2(Delta). Planned Maintenance orders costs 0PM_OM_OPA_1 is getting completed less than half an hour Actual Maintenance orders costs 0PM_OM_OPA_2(Delta) we are getting 6000 to 8000 records every day, but it is running 5:30 hours. Though it is a standard data source which will triggered by Function Module PMEX_PM_GET_ORDCSTA1 We have applied SNote 2063710 and 1602924 for performance improvement. But still it is very poor.

Please suggest us the best way to improve the performance of 0PM_OM_OPA_2 Data source

We are using SAP BW 7.4 with SP18 , ECC 6.0

Consider adding a filter to the initialization and delta on 0PM_ORDER Maintenance order. For example, if you know that all orders below 299999999 are closed, use the range 3000000000 - 9999999999. Otherwise, use 0000000001 to 9999999999.

    Why this work?

Many function model based data sources are not programmed to search in the key field by default. Only when a filter is specified is the search made along a key field.

If you have filters on other fields, work with your basis team to add a filter in the source table.
