"No (further) data available" message when trying to load transaction data

I'm a grad student at San Francisco State University. I have a data warehousing assignment using SAP. I'm on the part of the assignment where I need to load the transaction data. I've tried it over, and over, and over again and when I click "Read Preview Data" I keep getting the same message "No (further) data available". Is there anyone who can help me troubleshoot this? I'm unable to move forward with the rest of the assignment until I can get this to load properly.

The data from a csv file that I added should appear. Every time I get this error message, I go back and delete the data flow and start all over with a slightly different name. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Please note this is NOT SAP HANA. It's the version before HANA. PLEASE HELP!!!

  • Hi Alicia,

Could you let us know what your data flow consists of? if it is before HANA , i am hoping it to be atleast 7.x version.

If so , since you are using flat file(CSV) to load data , can you make sure to use full load DTP rather than delta.

The reason why you are seeing that message is probably because you have already loaded some data to your target using delta DTP and again you are trying to load some more delta(changed records), which probably is not there.

So, just check your flow and let us know about it.

    Thank you Shadab.

In the Extraction tab, in the "Delta Process" field: these are the options that I have to choose from are:

"Delta only using full upload (DSO or Info Package selection) (DEFAULT)

    "FIL0 Delta with after images"

    "FIL1 Delta with delta images"

I've been using the default the entire time and have gotten that error message. Do you have any other suggestions?
