SAP DM Stack 1301 importing data from SAP DM version 10.1.5.158

Hi All,

Is it possible to migrate 10.1.58 data from SAP Disclosure Management to SAP Disclosure Management Stack 1301?

We have done a new application installation of version stack 1301. And I wanted to know if it is possible to transfer the data from the old environment to the new environment? By Import/Export function.

What I have read is that a data and application migration must take place (900->1000->1200).

Hi Niels

Not sure. In principle, a transfer (export/import) needs to be done between systems on the same version, so officially it is not even supported.

I fear you may get errors, because the export of your SP05 data may be missing elements that SP13 requires, so the import will error out

Hi Marc,

Thanks for your quick response. Their are al lots of differances between the versions 10.1.5.158 and stack 1301. Not only on the screen but also on the level of the database.

I think it's not going to work, but i give it a try.
