Send an email to supervisor PR workflow

Hello guys,

I'm star to configure a PR workflow. I don't have a lot experience.

When a purchase requisition is created (me51n), I go to me54n to release the PR like a planner. So WF is initiated.

After that, an supervisor needs to release it too.

I want to send an email to warn the supervisor that he need to release the PR on your WF box.

How can I configure it?

I guess you are not on an S4Hana system but ECC, am I right ?

If yes the MM workflow (for PO, PR, contract) are based on the release stratégy.

On the customising point of the release strategy you will be able to find an help indicating the exit that are avalaible in your case the exit to determine the agent for purchase requisition is M06B0001

Then depending on the release code you'll be able determine the user (by calling implementing your logic)

and on your customising the release code needs to be marked as relevant for the workflow and determination of the agent by exit .

the standard workflow will send a mail in the SWBP then after that you can use the standard programme (extended notification to alert the user by email outside of sap) (user needs to have his email on the SU01)
