ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST : Not triggered for PO gets approved

Hi All,

We have been using BADI :ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST ( method: POST) to update some custom table fields, and for email triggering to user based on some scenarios, when a PO is created/changed (this is in dev and test environment and has not moved to production).

These changes were working fine, previously since there was no approval associated with the PO.

However, now we have a release strategy and approval process in place. So when the PO is created & saved the BADI gets triggered the first time. But since the PO is not in an approved state, we do not want any action to happen.

Subsequently, when the approver goes to his workflow inbox and approves the work item, the PO status gets correctly updated.

However, in this case the BADI is not getting triggered,so our logic for triggering updates/ emails etc is not working.

Is there any way to fix this ? Also, is there any other user exit/ enhancement that can be used for this. We need to have access to all the PO header and Item fields which have been created/changed.

Any help on this would be appreciated. Please help.

    Hi,

Do a check in Check or Post with following code based on condition proceed with requirements.

IF lw_mepoheader-frggr IS INITIAL AND lw_mepoheader-frgsx IS INITIAL AND lw_mepoheader-frgke IS INITIAL.
