Hi,

I got solution for this problem. All that we need to make sure is that the Portal URL is of fully qualified. i mean.. it should be http://sdtlportal.company.com:50000/irj. instead of http://sdtlportal:50000/irj.

I changed to the above mentioned, and its working.

Thanks,

Is this resolved and working?

Hi, we are getting same issue with our integrated webgui ITS on an ECC 5.0 system. Basically we get the message 'no switch made to HTTPS;so it's unsafe to send your password'. You can then enter your userid and password to logon successfully.

If anyone has experienced this same issue and resolved it would be greatful to know what is required, thanks.

I don't understand your problem.

The message "No switch made to HTTPS; so it is unsafe to send your password" is just an information. YOu should be able to logon.

Maybe your backend system youn connect to isn't configured approbiate?

Check transaction SSO2 with RFC-destinantion NONE or use STRUSSSO2 to verify your sso-settings.

Hi achim,

I tested and configured above tx's everthing is fine. SSO with logon tickets working fine in WINGUI. Am trying to connect SSO with Logon tickets in Web gui it's not working giving above error. Even i tested ITS setting for sso with userid&pwd scenario, its working fine. Am using Netweaver'04 with sp15, let me know is there any parameter setting required in ITS for acivating SSO with logon tickets.

Hi achim,

In My case ITS is inbuilt, am using SAP system application server Release 5.0, is it required to configure profile parameters for this version, if it is can you please send me the procedure where can i set the ITS parameters for this version. i configured WEBGUI for sso with userid&pw using SICF tx.

for the intergrated ITS SSO to work,

you need to set the following profile paramters from transaction RZ10 (it requires system restart after chaing the profile param)

login/accept_sso2_ticket 1

login/create_sso2_ticket 1

also check in the system definition whether ITS host, path , etc are maintained properly

once this is done (i hope you have already loaded the certificates)

run the BSP application SYSTEM page sso2test.htm to see whether the SSO2 works fine.

Hi Raja,

I already did rz10 setting and tested with bsp application

sso2test.htm. SSO working fine in WINGUI, but sso not working in WEBGUI, samething its giving above error.

Even I am getting the same error.

For me this error comes only when the portal host name and ITS host name are different. I works fine if host name for both the portal and ITS are same.

For the situation when it doesn't work, host names are

dev01.fomsa.ngn.net and its.fomsa.ngn.net

Please help me if any of you have resolved this problem.

I have had problems with four-part host names (e.g., dev01.fomsa.ngn.net) that don't occur with three-part names (e.g., dev01.ngn.net). Take a look at the discussion on "domain relaxation" in Note 701205. It looks like you should be using ume.logon.security.relax_domain.level=2

Hi,

You can supress the message using the property BspDontShowHttpsWarning. Goto SICF and locate your service, open node and choose tab error pages. At redirect URL add '&bspdontshowhttpswarning=X'.

You can find the list of available parms from
