SAP GUI 7.40 / 7.50 Crashs when opening a transaction

Hello. I am having issues with SAP GUI 7.40 Patch Level 12 and 7.50 Patch Level 12 on Windows 10 x64 (1809) . The user can open the SAP GUI but if he clicks on a transaction the login windows does not appear and the GUI main window disappers. A SAP GUI icon is on the taskbar and it desapper if i hover with the mouse over it.

I cannot find any information about the error on the windows event viewer. I cannot find any sap gui error log.

I have already tried to change the theme but this does not change anything.

Do you have any idea? Where can i find information about errors and crashes of the sap gui?

UPDATE: if i log in with my credentials on the PC of the Employee which is having the issue i can use any transaction without any problems. This is very strange. Any ideas?

Hi Gabriele.

You find those trace file in the following location - " C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\SAP\SAP GUI\Traces" refer the SAP Note 1442303.

Kindly refer the SAP Wiki link to enable the trace find the error message, if possible attach the error log as text format?

Hi Siram,

I activated tracing level 2. There are several files in the Traces folder.

I wasn t able to find any error messege in these files. Wich one should i attach?

thank you very much for your answer. I activated Trace. There are several files in the folder that are created. Wich one should I copy here?
