Assign manually personnel number

Hello,

How to change (user dialog preferred) the assignment between personnel number and business partner?

Let's say move "1" from 9980000020 to 9980000010.

Could be a user error or switching from "no HR integration" to "HR integrated".

The system seems having memorized somewhere 1-to-9980000020 linkage.

Playing around with TCodes BP, PA30 and SU01 does not help.

I used to have the same problem recently.

Well, please first find out what is the status in your system regarding HR/business partner integration (see below)?

If the latter is switched on, then you can not change the personnel number any more by design.

Hallo Steffen,

Vielen Dank 😉 for your (very prompt!) help.

I have tried out with that (and follow-on) SNote(s).

Unfortunately in my 1809 S4CORE 103 I can only find BAdI /SHCM/B_EMPLOYYE_MODIFY_USER (and not the one mentioned in there).

Even though I have tried to deactivate this one (first time ever! - I am usually not touching to any code) no result : in PA30 for communication user field cannot be left over empty between recommended corrective processing steps.

Not sure I should insist anymore.

Unless of course your experience would suggest me the contrary.
