Limit PO not going for approval when the value limit is changed

HI All

i have an issue here after the SRM upgrade. When ever we change a limit PO , it is not going for the approval, instead it is getting auto approved. we are using process controlled work flow, however it was working before the upgrade. can anyone help in this issue please.'
