Can you please recommend me a good SAP FI book for a technical profile?

I recently purchased at the SAP Press store the SAP HCM technical and programming manual, which i liked a lot.

Im looking for a similar book describing the FI module from a technical profile (if it has a little functional, its better). I looked for a "FI Programming" book at the Press store but i didnt find anything relevant.

No need to be published by SAP, im open to other publishers.

Thanks in advance, folks! :)

There is an SAP Press book "ABAP Development for Financial Accounting" but it's only available as e-book now and was published in 2011. Information in it should still be accurate for ECC but there were quite a few changes in S/4 HANA FI, so I suspect it'd be of very limited use.

even though the book was published a long time ago i found a lot of relevant references in it. the code around GL has not changed that much over the years, at least for the consistency sake.

it will not answer any 'ECC to S4 journey' questions, obviously and i suspect that you still won't be able to join BKPF on BSEG or put them on a blockchain (easily).

    some have tried, though.
