Split of input materials in a not released production order

We need to decide which identfied stock we want to use in a production order before we release the order. That can be done in BYD.

Sometimes we need more than one identfified stock for the same production order. Is there any possibility to split the quantity in the production order and select all needed identified stock before we release the production order?

    Dear Klaus,

As you are aware in SAP ByD, the production order is a document that holds all the planned data and the actual execution data which is entered in the lot – through production tasks confirmation.

Since the Identified stock comes in to picture at the time of execution, We do not think there is a possibility to be specified in the order.

    I hope this info helps.

    Dear Sandeep,

in the production order, before release, it is possible to

    • select input materials by lot number
    • define the lot numer of the product being manufactured

When you select the input materials it is not possible to split the quantities between two lot numbers. There should be a "split" button, like everywhere else.

Any suggestions to solve the problem?
