Crystal Report with flex prompt

We used CR2008 to create a report which is embedded in our product. We have the Crystal Report configured with parameters (which is entered by the user at run-time) where the flex prompt UI (out of the box) comes up. With flex technology going away, what are our best options without having to upgrade to the latest version of CR (due to budget and resource restraints)? Are there are any solutions/options to keep our current version of CR? Thanks!

If you're just running the reports through Crystal itself, there shouldn't be any issues. If you're running through an application that you've written using the SDK, there are a couple of options:

    1. Update the application so that users set the parameter values in the application and they're passed to Crystal in code. This will prevent the parameter screen appearing.

    2. Upgrade your application using VS 2010 or newer and the latest version of the Crystal for VS SDK.
