Change Network and subnet on an existing AWS instance?

We are working to move from AWS classic to the newer AWS VPN setup.

While we constantly look and take new items in CAL, we want to move our existing instances to the newer network setup.

Is it possible to change Network and Subnet after an instance is created? If so, pointers to existing documentation or suggested steps do to this?

Thanks in advance,

We do not support such a scenario.

One possible workaround would be if a custom solution is created out of the instance and then to start a new instance in the new CAL account (which points to a VPN subnet).

In this case the /etc/hosts have to be adapted respectively with the new IPs and the license of the SAP software have to be updated as the new instance will have a new hardware key.

Please have in mind that this setup is not guaranteed.

    Best regards,
