Hi All,
I am seeing a strange problem in PCUI 5.0 channel partner management application. On the general info tab I removed the classification screengroup and added a custom one for my field. I did generate the layout for the fieldgrp but my field doesn't show up. It still shows the classification.
Could this be a portal Cache problem?

Does anyone faced the problem that the layout changes doesn't come thru in PCUI ? I added some fields but then the application pulls the old layout..

Where did you generate the layout the place where you added the fields.
Try to generate the Layout in this place
crmc_blueprint_c transaction -> Layout of User Interface (People-Centric UI )-> Application Element
->Field Group-> Layout Generation
It should work...

I am not sure about delete Layout.
But check this.
In the Application View in the fieldgroup are you able to see the added fields.
For example For Leads.
CRMD_BUS2000108 -> Version 1 -> Static Model -> Search Area - Field Groups -> LEA_SRCH_MANAGER, when you double click on the field group you should be able to see the custom fields added

Hi,
I just wanted to add that DELETE layout is used for deleting the layout that was previously generated. Also it is recommended when you are adding new fields etc then you must delete the old layout and regenrate the new one. This will ensire that the new layout is read.
Also layout generation only effects the form or detail view and not the list view(here entries are read from customsing and runtime field attributes from attributes from applcation and then mergerd)
