SAP MM-Custom Movement Type

Hello All,

I have a created a custom movement type 953 which is a copy of the standard movement type-453.

In this movement type I do not want the accounting document to get generated during transfer posting but the value update field is greyed out.

Can we remove this tick from the custom movement type.

Hi Saurav,

The nature of this movement type requires to have the value update set, therefore it cannot be removed even if you create a custom movement.

This value update also considers the material type set up, can you explore this as an alternative for your requirements.

Yes in the change mode we can enable this but the system triggers error for this SPRO> MM> MOVEMENT TYPES
