Hi Experts..

I have a business requirement related to pricing where we have 2 line items in the Sales order. One is Labour and the other is material. Now both the line items have different condition types and will have different pricing. Like for example for Labour we have price condition as "Labour Sales" and for material we have a price condition as "Vendor list price"

So how I can manage the pricing procedure so that in I can see different pricing condition with respect to the 2 different line items.

Thanks Veselina for your reply. Both materials will have different material groups. So I will be using different condition tables to pull the different condition records for the condition type. So if no records for the condition available, no value will appear for that condition type.

You do not need separate condition tables.

You can have 2 condition types (lets name them ZPR1 and ZPR2), they can use the same access sequence and condition tables (if you wish, if not - you can create separate ones). Then you simply need to maintain for ZPR1 a condition for material group A and for ZPR2 a condition for material group B. This is the easiest option.

If this is not possible for some reason and if this is about base price you can make use of last active price feature. This means that you place ZPR2 after ZPR1 in the procedure and if you have both ZPR1 and ZPR2 determined for an item - only the last price (in this case ZPR2) will be active.

If you have also discounts that need to be switched on or off depending on whether you have ZPR1 or ZPR2 - make use of condition exclusion (do some research on the topic).

Or you can create VOFM routines 🙂

First decide on which properties (e.g. material group, item category) you need to differentiate these two items. Then you can use these properties in condition tables or in VOFM routines. This is a really basic thing, what did you try so far? SD pricing is very flexible, you have a lot of features at your disposal.
