C4C // Fetch solutions on Command line (API)

Good morning guys,

is there a functionality, to fetch an C4C PDI/SDK solution equivalent to Cloud Application Studio from the command line? We would like to use it, to receive the newest state of the solution to our local copy. Otherwise, i have to open Cloud Application Studio, only to get a refreshed solution.

Thanks for your advice.

Best regards,
Michael

    Hi,

Please refer to the blog: https://blogs.sap.com/2019/08/16/using-git-one-way-with-sap-cloud-application-studio-c4c/. Here you will find a way to set up Git Repository for PDI solution which can then be synced to your local directory.

    Thanks

    • Hi,

SAP Cloud Application Studio creates a Local copy of the solution and whenever you make any change in SDK then those local files are getting updated and upon activation, these changes are getting synched to cloud. And in the blog, I mentioned earlier changes are getting synched from LOCAL directory to Git.

i.e. if in a team of 3 consultants if one of the person has made changes to the solution but if person who is syncing the solution to GIt hasn't logged in to the SDK then he will still be syncing the old solution(missing the changes odne by first person). Hence the correct way is to always log in to the SDK and then do the git commit.

      Hope it clarifies a bit.

      Thanks

      Saurabh
