HTTP 500 at deploying an Alexa Channel

Hi,

I am trying to create an Alexa channel, but for some reason, when I try to deploy the skill to Amazon, the post request gets an HTTP 500 error and the deployment fails.

The error states:

{"message":"1 validation error detected: Value 'undefined' at 'skillStageIdentifiers.1.member.skillId' failed to satisfy constraint: Member must satisfy regular expression pattern: (^amzn1\\.ask\\.skill\\.[0-9a-f\\-]+)|(^amzn1\\.echo-sdk-ams\\.app\\.[0-9a-f\\-]+)","results":null}

I haven't found how this post request is created.

Any ideas?

Two weeks now and the problem persists. Not sure why SAP offers Alexa as a channel if in reality it does not work.

barney013 which language do you use? I can deploy German skills, but English skills are not working...

Hi all, after the 1911 update the issue was resolved. You need to create a new channel and deploy.

This was sorted time ago, I guess Amazon has changed their API again and the integration was broken once more.

Hi,

We have found the issue, there is some change in Alexa API.

We have fixed the issue and it will be available with 1911 release.

Unfortunately this cannot pushed as a part of hotfix.

The problem with the deployment unfortunately still exists. Actually this should be fixed with yesterday's update, but still no skills can be deployed to the Alexa Developer Console or only the endpoint is defined, nothing else.

At this moment this problem is totally annoying, because I absolutely need the API for a project from my studies. It can't be that such bugs have been around for weeks and aren't fixed.

Please fix the problem as soon as possible, otherwise I have to switch to alternative chatbot frameworks.
