Search Patterns in AMDP Script

Dear All,

We have a Masking table with a key mask column like '84[0-9][0-9][ABCDEFGHJKLM]%' etc ..

I need to filter exact pattern record from the Masking table and update/process other fields of the records. But below statement not filtering or identifying below pattern ..tried all pattern commands like REGEXP,LIKE_REGEXP etc ..but it not working.

i am using AMDP select like

outtab = select EQUNR as "/BIC/ZEQUPMENT",

eqip.RECORD as RECORD,

from :inTab as "EQIP" inner join "/BIC/AZMK_PLSER1" as mask on

eqip.zzsernr LIKE '84[0-9][0-9][ABCDEFGHJKLM]%';

How to filter the patterns like PATINDEX in oracle .
