Hi All,

I have a scenario where I need to have the system to automatically propose the order qty in multiples of MOQ ( needs to check stocks and if unavailable, need to propose a lower qty in the multiples of MOQ maintained at CMIR (maintained at CMIR as the same material has different MOQ for different customers). How can this be achieved ?

Ex as given below;

Please help to understand .

Best Regards,

Shubha

My call name is Lakshmipathi and not Ganesan as you addressed.

Coming to your query, with standard, it is not possible to check the availability and if it is not available, then propose stock in multiples of MOQ. I have already said you need to go with an enhancement.

System will only propose the order quantity what you have in master data and stock allocation will not happen based on this. Whatever stock is available, system will confirm. If you want to prevent this, you need to go with an enhancement.

Hi Ganesan,

You mean system will propose the MOQ maintained in the Material master ? Actually I am not looking at stock allocation here, I want the system to check the availability and if not available then propose a Qty in multiples of the MOQ maintained . Can we achieve this by rounding profile ? please help to understand.

Hello,

Can you provide more details, what do you mean by "I need to have the system to automatically propose the order qty" is it for purchase orders? Are you using the MRP? in which step of your process do you want the system to propose the quantities?

Yassine

Hi Yassine,

I want the system to propose the quantity in the Sales Order ( so that the same can flow into the Delivery ). Hence this is in the Order management and not Purchasing,
