Hello EWM experts

I am doing EWM MFS setup.

When I try to start my channel it gets status A , but did not go to status B.

I am using PLC emulator tool . PLC emulator only shows telegram of type SYES. what about telegrams SYBE and SYEN.

Hello Ramesh,

When starting the channel , MFS sent telegram of type SYES to PLC emulator and the status of channel is 'A' , so we need the Status of channel 'B' to establish correctly the connection, and to do that i need to send a telegram of type 'SYBE' and 'SYEN' from PLC emulator to MFS , the problem is that telegrams can't be sent from the PLC emulator, it can be a problem of firewall?

thanks ramesh

Hi Aslam,

The SYEN telegram should be triggered from the PLC to establish the successful TCP/IP connection with SAP EWM MFS.

Hi Aslam,

Check whether the SYEN telegram is triggered and processed. Until the telegram SYEN is processed in EWM the communication channel status is not becoming B.

Also, check whether the SYEN telegram is assigned to the telegram category D Synchronization End.
