Copy Custom fields values in RfC to UC

Hi,

I have added a custom field "External Reference ID" in my Request for Chance document (RfC)

This custom field is editable and client want to enter alpha numeric values in it for tracking Incident ID's created in SNOW.

Now i want this newly added custom field "External Reference ID" values to be copied into my Urgent Change Document (UC), and i have created a custom filed in UC as well with same name.

When a UC is created in RfC the values from RfC are not carry forwarded in UC.

Please let me know how to bring the values in the RfC custom fields to UC newly created custom fields.

PS: i have created both the fields in RfC and UC with same technical name "//BTADMINH/PO_NUMBER_SOLD".
