I am using HANA Cockpit 2.0. I want to know can I deactivate Cockpit users using Cockpit GUI? Here I am referring to Cockpit users(manage Cockpit -> Users) and not HANA database users which I manage inside Cockpit.
Thanks
Hi Andranik,
Quickly checked the documentation but did not find this to be a feature.
Cockpit users are (XS Advanced) application users, which map to database users, so technically, if you have the required database privileges, you can perform the same operations on these users as on regular database users. However, this is certainly not a recommended or supported approach.
I do not have access to the cockpit UI at the moment but maybe it is possible not to assign any role to the user? This might "functionally" disable the user.

I get what you mean, but I do not want alternative ways cause they are not only not recommended but also make me use the privileges the user used to have. So I'd like to temporarily disable users, and reactivate them back again without addeitional configuration. It's sad that the feature is missing.
And thank you for your support!
