TASKS not getting updated in Notification

Dear All Experts,

We are working on a upgradation project we have the below issue.

For Notifications, the TASKS are not getting updated correctly. There are few Notifications for which the TASK update is successful but for few others they are unsuccessful.

Kindly Advice on how shall we proceed further.

Check if there are any BADI implementations for the TASK Update.

it's hard for us to trouble shoot this.

I suggest you use SE16 and do some table compares.

Check the QMEL table for a start. Compare one that worked and one that doesn't. Display all the fields.

Check any fields with differences and make sure you know why they are different and the impact the difference might have on processing. Obviously dates/times will be different. But pay attentions to fields were a data/time is null in one record and not null in another.

Also do the same with the tables QMFE, QMMA, and QMSM.

Hopefully this will help you identify the difference between one that works and one that doesn't. Which hopefully leads you to a solution.
