Order reason field is empty

Hello experts,

I have a case with VA01. While creating an order with VA01, saving it and then go back to va01 to create another order type,
the order reason list becomes empty and contains no data. I always have to retype the t-code in the command bar to refresh it and eventually to get the order reason list.

Could anyone help me to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

When you create the second order - do you use the same order type and sales area?

If yes then the most likely reason is custom development. In this case:

  • If you are a consultant - check the available project documentation. If you cannot find any reasonable explanation - request the assistance of a colleague from the development department.
  • If you are a business user - contact your local support team via the official channels (probably you need to submit a ticket).

If you use a different order type and/or sales area - there is specific customizing in SPRO (for Sales and Distribution node) for mapping order types to order reasons.

Hello,
Thank you for your answer. When creating the second-order, I use the same sales area data but not the same order type.

Yes. When I use the same order type and sales area, I can see the list of order reason.

eddoukhi then it may be related to customizing.

If you are a business user and if you think that this behavior is incorrect then you need to contact your local support team because you lack the authorizations to modify the settings.

If you are a consultant - navigate to SPRO and check the settings in SD Sales and Distribution for order reason mapping to order types.
