adm_host database table modified to localhost after application failover

Every application failover of our Archive Center 16.0, we noticed that database tables adm_host, adm_buffer, and adm_archive hostnames are being updated from virtual hostname to localhost. May we inquire why is it happening? Are there any configuration doing this auto-update? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
