Absence hours in IT2001

Hi ,

IT2001 is showing Absence hrs as 1.5 same as It2003 .

But Planned working time is 12 hours as per It0007 record.

Where can we configure to display the correct absence hours in IT2001.

Thanks and Regards

Sei

    Hi,

Well 2003 is a substitution which effectively overwrites 0007

If the employee is absent for the day and you want it to be treated as per IT0007 why enter a substitution?

    Hi

In this case the substitution is not required so it should be deleted.

When/if you deletete the substitution you will need to do some thing with the Absence to get the figures recalculated.

You can amend the absence in PA30 and just step thru it and it will recalculate. Alternatively

either standard program RPTUPD00 or RPTBPC10 will recalculate the absence.

    Hi,

I do not think you can affect the calculation of calendar days and absence days, they are what they are and are driven off the work schedule as specified by 0007/2003.

However there is another cumulation - payroll days/hours (Quota used) visable thru PA30 which is configurable thru counting rules, but I do not think standard config caters for your scenario.

But there is a BADI PT_ABS_ATT_COUNTR that can be used to influence the calculation of payroll hours and I have used that sucesfully in the past.
