Open old Solution

We got a Solution Version for Cloud Studio 1811, it is not possible to open this Version on Cloud Studio 1908. Is it possible to open or convert this Solution to a newer Release? Maybe it is possible to import this Solution into a other Software?

Dear Hakan,

You will receive this error message while trying to deploy the patch version from tenant 1[Higher Release Version] to tenant 2 [Lower Release Version].

You cannot deploy a solution to a target tenant which is in a different release version. This means when your test tenant upgrades to version 1805, you cannot deploy an 1805 patch / solution to your 1802 production tenant.

You must wait until the source and the target tenants are on the same release version.

Hello,

Yes it is possible to open in 1908 version too.

If the solution is already in that tenant, you can see it when you login 1908 SDK.

If not, need to upload/deploy that solution to 1908 SDK.

If you are not talking about CSS solution and talking about new version of SDK (studio itself), you need to contact your administrator to get new SDK version installer.

It is not in Tenant. This error message comes when I want to upload it: "Release SAP_BYD 1811 of solution is not compatible with system".
