Hello,
I am well aware of possibility to have one-way synonym-based HANA HDI cross-container connections. The question is, is it possible to have some kind of cross-container connections going both ways. i.e. container A can access/call container B tables/views/procedure/etc. via synonyms, and vice versa container B can access container A tables/views/procedure/etc. The question is HANA on-premise specifically.
a. Is it possible to have synonym-based cross-container connections in both directions? Maybe there is some deployment trick to work around the circular dependency?
b. Is there some kind of "softer" alternatives to synonym-based cross-HDI-container connections, alternatives that have seen the light of productive use? Loopback via SDA/SDI remote source and virtual tables/procedures maybe? A HANA SDI adapter to plug into XS MESSAGING SERVICE? I am aware, the XSA backend web service layer is the really good place the kind of "softer"/loosely coupled inter-container connections, and not the DB layer. But let's stick to the DB layer this time.
Again, if it matters in some way, this is HANA 2.0 platform edition on-premise specifically.
