Input Field on SAP Webdynpro SAP Netweaver 7.5 EhP8 not vertically aligned

All,

We recently moved from EhP5 to EhP8 version in SAP and see our existing application having this issue. Fields that have conditional editing ( using method set_read_only_fieldname ) get aligned slightly up like the one highlighted below. What would you think the reason or solution is?
