Internal Order and WBS element in Sales Order

Hi,

I believe Internal Order and WBS element both are cost object.

Do we assign both internal order & WBS element against one line item in Sales Order.

Can we assign Internal Order with WBS element?

I think you are confusing the things... Is this an actual issue you encounter or just an interview question?

Sorry this is not interview question.

I was of the confusion and latter realized we can assign either Internal Order or WBS element to track costing.We cannot assign WBS with Internal order.

Since in our implementation PS was in scope but it is moved to phase 2.

So we had a discussion to go with Internal order and replace it WBS once PS is live.

Sales Order item is also a possible cost object on its own, so maybe you need to explain first a business requirement. Generally we do not assign WBS and Internal order to SD item. For customer projects it will be WBS only.
